Our Mission

At Maw-Maw's Cheer Ministries, our mission is to uplift underprivileged children in Western North Carolina. We strive to provide essential items that not only meet their needs but also bring joy and cheer into their lives.

Maw-Maw's Cheer Ministries not only provides essential items to underprivileged children but also gives Easter Baskets, School Supplies with new school sneakers, Winter Coats and our big event is Christmas gifts (Santa).  

No, Maw-Maws Cheer Ministries pays monthly rent on a warehouse and office which includes utilities and security.   Current monthly rent is $2200.00.  

Yes. Potential clients schedule an appointment to apply. They must be the parent or legal guardian living with the child(ren).   Applicants must fill out an application, show ID and birth certificate for each child  included in the request.  Applications stay on file for the year they are approved in.  

Maw-Maw's Cheer Ministries provide essential items to the children such as;  food boxes weekly, diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene items every two months, clothing seasonally, shoes seasonally. Other items provided when available such as beds, cribs, etc. 

Maw-Maw's Cheer Ministries is ran solely on donations of items as well as monetary donations.   We also seek Grant opportunities. Maw-Maw's Cheer Ministries is a volunteer ran organization.
